# Construction Project of Phra Thepwatchirayan (Luem Thithammalo) Hospital
Project Leader: Phra Luem Thithammalo, Abbot of Wat Nong Pong Forest Monastery
Location: Kok Chan Subdistrict, Uthumphon Phisai District, Si Sa Ket Province
Building Capacity: 60 Beds (In-patient and Out-patient)
== Scope of Work and Responsibilities ==
1. **Project Management of Hospital Construction**
- Plan project execution to meet scheduled timelines
- Control budget in accordance with the clients objectives
- Select materials and equipment that are durable and have easily available spare parts
2. **Use of Technology for Design and System Coordination**
- Use 3D software such as SketchUp for preliminary design and clash detection between systems including electrical, plumbing, structural, and MEP
- Plan equipment locations for easy access during maintenance
3. **Coordinate with Relevant Staff to Resolve Details of Systems and Finishes**
- Coordinate with engineering and architectural teams to identify and resolve conflicts between different building systems
- Use SketchUp for Clash Detection between MEP systems, structure, and finishes
- Modify system and finish details using SketchUp, including special furniture such as patient beds and nursing station tables
- Coordinate installation of internal communication system (PABX)
- Verify location of telephone switchboard, internal phone points, and integration with network system
- Adjust design to suit actual usage in hospital settings such as nurse stations, patient rooms, and emergency areas
- Coordinate installation of solar power system (Solar Cell)
- Confirm installation locations of rooftop solar panels and other suitable areas
- Revise electrical design to support connection with main hospital power system (Grid Tie Inverter, MDB)
- Plan safe and maintainable installation
- Coordinate installation of water treatment system
- Check installation positions for water filtration, RO (Reverse Osmosis), and disinfection systems (Ultraviolet / Chlorination)
- Adjust water distribution system for specific departments such as Operating Room, Dialysis Unit, and Laboratory
- Plan for regular maintenance and consistent water quality monitoring

4. **Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ)**
- Create detailed lists of materials, equipment, and sanitary fixtures required for the entire construction
- Use 3D-designed drawings for accurate BOM take-off
- Cover all work categories including structural works, MEP systems, interior/exterior finishes, and special works such as ACP, stainless steel, and sanitary fixtures per department
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) alongside BOQ for procurement and future maintenance planning
- Use BOQ and BOM data for cost estimation, budgeting, and purchasing processes
5. **Prepare Payment Certificates (Interim Payment Claims)**
- Based on project progress stages
- Verify installed works and equipment
- Assess readiness of spare parts when necessary
6. **Inspect and Control Construction Quality**
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and equipment according to standards
- Inspect construction quality and related systems such as MEP, fire protection, and access control
7. **Prepare Reports**
- Monthly progress reports
- Problem reports and proposed solutions
- Reports on spare part availability and maintenance issues
8. **Coordinate with Various Departments and Agencies**
- Internal coordination with engineering, finance, and procurement departments
- External coordination with contractors, consultants, and government agencies
- Liaise with manufacturers/suppliers for spare part information and warranty terms
9. **Perform Other Tasks as Assigned by Superiors**
