Job Description :

Quality Assurance & Control
-Develop and implement quality plans, inspection standards, and control plans for plastic parts
-Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of plastic components
-Ensure compliance with customer drawings, specifications, and tolerances
Process & Product Quality
Monitor injection molding processes and identify quality issues such as sink marks, warpage, flash, short shots, discoloration, etc.
Conduct root cause analysis using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D
Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Measurement & Testing
Use measuring instruments: Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM, Profile Projector
-Conduct dimensional, visual, functional, and material inspections
-Ensure MSA (Gauge R&R) and calibration of instruments
Documentation & Compliance
-Prepare and maintain QA documents: SOPs, inspection reports, FMEA, Control Plans
-Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 (if automotive)
Maintain traceability and records as per quality systems
Supplier & Customer Interface
Handle customer complaints, returns, and corrective action reports
Support PPAP/APQP activities (automotive)
Coordinate with suppliers for incoming quality issues
Continuous Improvement
Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Support internal and external quality audits
