Job Description :

3D Finite element investigation on the effect of twin-stacked tunneling with the lagging distance on the adjacent building. -Studied the impact of constructing adjacent twin-stacked tunnels on a pile group using finite element software PLAXIS 3D. -Explored different methods for assessing the impact of tunneling on adjacent buildings to simplify the assessment process while ensuring safety. -Analyzed the effects of twin-stacked tunnels with varying lagging distances on the adjacent pile group of a building to reduce construction time. -Evaluated the behavior of soil and pile groups from the analysis results, focusing on transverse settlement, pile head settlement, differential settlement, and angular distortion of the building.
