Job Description

  • 1. Opening purchase orders (PO) / Requesting purchase requisitions (PR) for both goods and contractors.
  • 2. Sourcing products that meet the buyer's requirements, ensuring quality and reasonable pricing (price negotiation).
  • 3. Monitoring product delivery to align with the specified dates.
  • 4. Receiving and checking goods on behalf of the requester when they are not present at the site (verifying the item list and PO number against the purchase order).
  • 5. Identifying new suppliers.
  • Regarding tax invoices and various billing documents:
  • 1. Separating tax invoices and billing documents for the accounting and finance departments.
  • 2. In the event of issues with tax invoices (discrepancies in PO numbers, incorrect company addresses, incorrect tax ID numbers), the purchasing department must contact the relevant personnel to request invoice corrections.
  • 3. If the supplier's delivery personnel mistakenly take back documents, finance will notify purchasing to retrieve the necessary documents for correction.
  • 4. In cases of incomplete billing documents, finance will inform purchasing to return with the required documents.
