Job Description

  • • Prepare daily cash flow reports from daily cash inflow and outflow records and present them to the department head/manager.
  • • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.
  • • Prepare weekly accounts payable/receivable aging reports.
  • • Prepare billing receipts for internal expense reimbursements excluding external service providers and compile related documents.
  • • Verify the completeness and accuracy of documents used for billing.
  • • Record details of cash receipts upon receiving checks from customers for payment and deposit them into the bank.
  • • Prepare checks and record the details in the system.
  • • Verify the accuracy of checks and payment vouchers against receipts.
  • • Prepare a summary of outstanding checks that have not been collected, along with a summary of pending check items.
  • • Review the accuracy of petty cash advance requests and petty cash disbursement forms before disbursing cash to the requester.
  • • Follow up on checks received from trade debtors.
  • • Calculate additional payments or refunds due to the requester in cases of petty cash advance requests versus petty cash disbursements.
  • • Record payment transactions in the petty cash control register.
  • • Prepare petty cash reimbursement requests weekly for various departments.
  • • Record petty cash reimbursement check receipts in the petty cash book and subsequently deposit the checks at the bank.
  • • Coordinate with various departments.
