Managed the overall orderliness of the dining area, checked the presentation of each dish before serving, and attended to customers utilizing the service. Welcomed customers to their tables, presented the menu highlighting signature dishes and bestsellers, confirmed customer orders, ensured nothing was missing, and inquired about any food allergies. Served food to customers while maintaining a nearby presence, ensuring visibility without being intrusive. If customers displayed any signs of concern or confusion, approached them to inquire about their satisfaction with the food and address any issues. In the event of errors, promptly rectified the situation and re-served the corrected dish with sincere apologies. If there were no issues, ensured customers enjoyed their meals and maintained the cleanliness of tableware, checking if customers required any additional utensils.
In cases where food was delayed, assisted in food preparation alongside chefs on two to three occasions and mixed cocktails while promoting wine sales. The restaurant's waitstaff must be capable of addressing immediate challenges and handling a variety of tasks effectively to ensure suitability in the dining department.
