Job Description

  • Research Project: Molecular Detection of Strongyloides stercoralis in Dogs in Phu Kam Yao District, Phayao Province - Collected dog fecal samples and cultured using the Agar plate culture method - Extracted DNA of the parasite using a commercial DNA extraction kit - Conducted PCR to confirm that the detected parasite is S. stercoralis using cox1 and HVR-IV genes - Performed Gel electrophoresis to visualize DNA bands under UV light - Collaborated on the project: Parasite screening in the community - Coordinated with the team to carry out activities for field sample collection.
