Job Description

  • Chelate-conjugated β-lactams resensitize metallo-β-lactamase producing Gram-negative bacteria against carbapenems antibiotics starting from syntheses of Chelate-conjugated β-lactams compounds (DTPA conjugated with β-lactams antibiotics) then perform MIC assay with relevant bacteria, before testing in in vivo with mice infection models.

  • Isolation and characterization of carbapenem resistant Enterobacterales obtained from environmental samples starting from isolating Enterobacterales onto selective culture medias, then extract DNA and perform PCR, visualise the genes accordingly.
