Job Description

  • Performed Preventive Maintenance (PM) on clinical equipment across ICU, OPD, Operating Room, and Labor Ward including Infusion Pumps, Syringe Pumps, Patient Monitors, and Defibrillators verifying flow rates, vital sign readings, and charge/discharge cycles against hospital standards. - Conducted calibration using Fluke ESA609 (leakage current, earth resistance), ProSim 4 (NIBP, ECG waveform, SpO₂), and Pressure Calibrator (O₂, Air, Vacuum medical gas outlets); documented results and compared against standard thresholds. - Assisted in Corrective Maintenance: systematically diagnosed Patient Monitor display failures and NIBP abnormal readings by checking power supply, cuff integrity, and pressure tubing; re-calibrated affected units to restore service. - Maintained medical device asset records in Excel (asset numbers, PM/calibration dates, equipment codes) and organized certificate filing for traceability and future scheduling; coordinated with nursing staff to plan device inspection rounds.
