Job Description

  • Professional internship experience in public health at Somsak Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Phakhao District, Loei Province
  • - Conducted basic procedural tasks including wound cleaning and suturing
  • - Administered basic medications for common diseases, providing explanations and guidance on medication use to patients
  • - Organized and systematically stored medications and medical supplies by category
  • - Performed preliminary laboratory screening, including stool tests using screening methods for colorectal cancer risk groups
  • - Provided screening services for patients with chronic diseases, including diabetes and hypertension
  • - Observed the follow-up of substance abuse treatment in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • - Engaged in community outreach, visiting homes of elderly individuals and chronic patients alongside a multidisciplinary team, and collected health data to conduct community meetings for health and environmental health project planning
  • - Supported pediatric vaccination clinic activities, including recording vaccination appointment schedules, verifying ages and vaccine lot numbers before handing over to the responsible nurse, and assessing child development according to age milestones
  • - Developed health education materials and informational signage, including epidemic disease signs, vaccination service signs for children, and long-term care home visit forms
  • - Recorded and managed health data in the HoSxp system, including service utilization data, patient screening, medication dispensing, and appointment scheduling.
