Job Description

  • Inspect materials before use, such as cement, steel, sand, bricks, paint, pipes, or various system materials. Verify compliance with specifications, including size, strength, brand, standards (TIS), quantity, and quality according to construction drawings. Collect samples and conduct tests, including concrete tests and compressive strength tests. Inspect the quality of steel and send materials to the lab for testing. For items that can be inspected independently, perform self-inspections.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure that the materials used conform to the specifications. Take photographs and prepare reports, notifying any issues if substandard materials are found. Document and report findings, check material certificates, and prepare reports for engineers or site supervisors. Coordinate and communicate with contractors, suppliers, engineers, and on-site technicians.
