My responsibility as a trainee at TTCL Public Company Limited was the following: 1) Studied the overall process of hexene plant (process description, document instrument process datasheet, PID and PFD). 2) Learned the regenerate adsorbent of the Hexene plant. 3) Drew block flow diagram of process steam from the Piping & instrument flow diagram, and calculated mass & enthalpy balance of steam process using Microsoft excel. 4) Accomplished the project work to study the different between adsorbent consumption, the adsorbent used in desulfurization & dehydration unit, from stoichiometry calculation with result from adsorption isotherm, studied the effect of sulfur ratio on adsorbent lifetime, found the maximum operation time of molecular sieve 4A adsorbent and compare adsorbent consumption from basic calculation with results from isotherm.
