• Lead and responsible for the sourcing, purchasing and supply for all capital projects(CAPEX), technical items, MRO, general supply and services as called Indirect Material and Services group for Kalasin plant. • Develop cost saving initiatives and execute to deliverable s. • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to and comply with the company policies and procedures. • Maintain or continuously improve the purchasing policies and procedures e.g. the approved vendor lists, vendor evaluation, price lists, etc. • Understand and follow the purchasing strategy and ensure the implementation as road map plan. • Monitor and provide report, activity dashboards and relevant KPIs. • Support the centralized / category purchasing or undertaking special projects for Kalasin sites operation. • Closely & pro-actively working collaborative with internal customers & stakeholders in all work related especially early procurement involvement with project engineering & continuous improvement team. • Leadership role in team capability development. • Negotiating the best purchasing conditions that optimize costs whilst ensuring that purchasing management policies and ethical regulations are applied. • Managing the development and validation of new suppliers and negotiating and obtaining the best possible 3 of 5 prices, quality and service. • Applying all purchasing tactics to come up with the best prices for the company, such as cost analysis, negotiations, volume discounts and relationship management. • Monitoring and improving material costs and supplier performance. • Supporting procurement initiatives and interfacing with strategic suppliers to solve problems involving pricing, supplier performance or any other matters that may arise whilst reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policies.
