Logistics Management • This involves researching potential suppliers, evaluating their products and services, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships. • Managing the purchasing process: Overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs and requirements, to issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any sourcing or delivery issues that may arise. • Vendor selection and management: Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, negotiating agreements, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure they meet contractual obligations and deliver quality goods and services. • Risk management: Identifying and managing risks associated with the procurement process, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and regulatory compliance. This may involve implementing contingency plans, establishing backup suppliers, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Collaborating with internal stakeholders: Working closely with other departments, such as operations, finance, and sales, to understand their procurement needs and develop customized solutions. Keeping internal stakeholders informed about procurement processes and providing regular updates on progress. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's objectives and vision in the realm of valuable cargo, it is imperative to familiarize oneself with the business overview. • Efficiently overseeing air cargo operations necessitates close collaboration and coordination with the cargo personnel of each respective airline. • The responsibility of overseeing and controlling proceedings pertaining to both Import-Export Customs Formalities Clearance and engagements with relevant government entities rests within the purview of this role. Budgeting and cost control: • Budgeting and cost control: Working closely with finance departments to establish procurement budgets and monitor expenditures. You would be responsible for finding opportunities to reduce costs and optimize spending, while maintaining quality standards. • Developing and implementing procurement strategies: Creating strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services needed by the organization. Documentations Management • It is incumbent upon the responsible party to guarantee the timely execution of shipments in accordance with specified schedules. • Furthermore, this position involves the provision of essential logistical support for import and export operations. • Knowledge of Effective management of shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and B/L Form E, demands meticulous scrutiny to ensure the accuracy of import-export documentation. Skill • Working under pressure and uncertain situations, continuously improve management skills through working experiences, coordinate with other department, negotiation skill with supplier, manage and training team. • Skilled in various software MS Office (word, excel, power point), ERP, • FormE FTA SDOC TISI FDA Good command in English (TOEIC: 550) • Driving : Car driving license)
