Project Engineer

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Evaluate and identify automation and process improvement opportunities, including technical feasibility, financial justification, and implementation strategy.
• Lead end-to-end project execution for automation initiatives, including equipment design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, start-up, and production ramp-up.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement and cross-functional stakeholders to develop technical specifications, Terms of Reference (TOR), and align supplier understanding and expectations.
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and update all engineering and project documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and change management procedures.
• Monitor and control project performance indicators covering Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and operational effectiveness.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing technical consultation, troubleshooting support, and automation expertise to manufacturing and support functions.
• Conduct user and maintenance training for newly installed equipment and automation systems to ensure operational readiness and sustainability.
• Ensure all automation systems comply with safety regulations, engineering standards, and company operational procedures.

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability in planning, execution, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting, particularly with Siemens and Allan Bradley.
• Experience in SCADA systems and industrial automation architecture.
• Familiar with Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Internet of Things (IoT) and integration between SCADA and enterprise-level applications.
• Competent in electrical drawing interpretation, wiring design, and control panel systems.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and with external suppliers.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or high-speed production environments will be an advantage.
