Automation Engineer

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Design and develop automation solutions for various manufacturing processes including assembly, testing, and packaging of electronic components.
• Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop software programs and scripts for PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and robotic systems to control manufacturing equipment.
• Integrate automation systems with existing manufacturing infrastructure and enterprise systems such as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to develop and execute validation protocols and documentation.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for automation systems including troubleshooting, debugging, and repair.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
• Continuously evaluate automation processes and technologies to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and improving quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including system specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide training and technical support to operators, technicians, and other stakeholders on the use and maintenance of automation systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing, programming, and implementing automation systems in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, C/C++, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines applicable to electronics manufacturing (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC standards).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certification in automation technologies (e.g., Certified Automation Professional).
• Experience with industry-specific automation equipment and technologies (e.g., pick-and-place machines, soldering robots).
