Our core values are: Operate our business on a sustainable basis financially, environmentally and socially Provide a good, safe and stable working environment for our staff, and Be a good citizen in all communities we deal with Job Description The overall task of the Agricultural Manager is to ensure that a continuous and steady supply of high-quality raw materials (forage crops) is produced and delivered to our factory. Raw materials will come from land farmed by ourselves as well as from local farmers who grow to supply our factory. The Agricultural Manager will be directed and supported by the General Manager and he or she will manage: Forage crops. This will involve planning crop production; site selection; soil preparation including the improvement of soil fertility through the addition of organic supplements; sowing & planting; weed control mainly by tillage; plant nutrition and fertilisers; irrigation; harvesting; and transportation of harvested forage materials to the factory. Drivers of tractors, harvesting machines and trucks; as well as the mechanics who maintain the machinery. Agricultural machinery (all machinery must be maintained in good safe working order and should be operated in a safe and responsible manner). A supply chain based on production of forage crops by local farmers.

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Qualifications Degree in agriculture or other relevant subject. Preferably at least 5 years work experience in farming, crop production or other relevant activity. Practical experience of Conservation Agriculture and organic farming techniques would be useful. Previous management experience. Able to use a computer and software (email, word processor, spreadsheets, etc). Has a driving license and is able to drive a car or pick-up. English language skills will be useful.
