Overall: To oversee all aspects of property management according to the mission of the company including maximisation of financial performance, customer satisfaction and staff development. To be responsible for hiring and training of all hotel staff. Job Descriptions/Roles and Responsibilities 1. To supervise all department heads and indirectly all hotel personnel including planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems. 2. To create an operating environment that ensures consistent customer satisfaction. 3. To monitor the performance of the hotel through verification and analysis of customer satisfaction and initiate corrective action. 4. To maintain product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints. 5. To develop short and long term financial objectives in accordance with the company’s mission. 6. To prepare financial reports for management to explain effectiveness, trends and variances. 7. To establish and maintain employee motivation, training and development. 8. To execute marketing, sales and operational activities that produce results that meet or exceed the company’s business plan. 9. To ensure good safety practices of employees and guests. 10. To establish and maintain preventive maintenance programmes to protect the physical assets of the hotel. 11. To maintain effective open-door communication system to be able to reach all employees.

A bachelor’s degree preferably a degree related to business or management. work experience for at least 5 years in the hospitality industry. Age preferably 35. To be able to speak effectively in English. To be able to read and interpret documents in English. To write routine reports and correspondence in English. To have sufficient computer skills enabling them to use all software programmes implemented within the companies proficiently. To be able to interpret financial information and prepare budgets. To be able to read and interpret business records and statistical reports. Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate well with others, effectively deal with guests and accept constructive criticism from supervisors. Must be able to adapt frequently and cope with interruptions.
