• Key responsibilities: 1. To lead GEAR database 2. To maintain GEAR database 3. To cooperate with other international partners and funders on GEAR database Description of duties: 1. Database management a. To input information from the research into the database and ensure that the contents are up-to-date; b. To manage the database efficiently, with activities including, but not limited to, the following: create headings and organize information on the database, manage questions and comments received from users and experts, account for comments on improvements of the website, monitor any discrepancies or errors in database functions and take appropriate action to address them; c. To analyze user information in conjunction with ongoing survey results, and update information on the database as needed; d. To recommend improvements to the website and technical content based on website developments; e. To give information on the database use and results, as well as respond to inquiries on the database made via email, phone, or other communication modes f. To engage in other research related activities, including, but not limited to, conducting surveys, literature review, data collection and analysis as well as preparing reports, manuscripts and presentations; g. To ensure, with supervision by respective authorities, the effective implementation of the GEAR database within the planned timeline, which will include coordination with other departments, such as finance, communications, administration, and research, for activities; 2. Research, with support from HITAP researcher and HIU a. To conduct research on methodological issues in economic evaluation as needed in the Guide for Economic Analysis and Research (GEAR) Database; b. To engage in other research related activities, including, but not limited to, conducting surveys, literature review, data collection and analysis as well as preparing reports, manuscripts and presentations; 3. Knowledge management, with support from Knowledge management and evaluation specialist and communication team a. To facilitate knowledge transfer and advocacy for the database in HITAP’s international work, through their partners, as well as other opportunities; b. To give lectures on the database use and results, as well as respond to inquiries on the database made via email, phone, or other communication modes.

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Job-specific requirements and competencies: 1. Experience (min. 2 years) in conducting economic evaluation for healthcare and/or postgraduate education in a related field (health economics). 2. Database management experience is preferred. 3. Excellent writing and organization skills, with ability to produce high quality work while meeting deadlines. 4. Interested in working on database management and future development. 5. High proficient in spoken and written English 6. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 7. Willing to relocate to Thailand and travel (5-10% of responsibilities). 8. Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
