Data Warehouse System Technician/ Data Architect

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• • Administer and configure databases on various platforms and administer related application servers in the scope of EDW project. • Tune and improve the data warehouse database utilization to achieve optimal performance. • Understand the EDW insurance data model to be able to suggest the most efficient way in designing the database. • In charge of data warehouse technical architecture aspects: System High Availability (HA), Backup and Recovery, Housekeeping, System Monitoring, Service Operation, Security, Job Scheduling. • Design and implement efficient ways to utilize storage. • Design and implement EDW user access/role privilege management. • Design schema for data/system integration model. • Install/upgrade and configure DWH and BI software including documentation. • Work closely with IT system engineering and infrastructure team in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data warehouse technical infrastructure to support software development stream.

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• • Strong aptitude with the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions in aspects of Data Warehousing, especially infrastructure/system architecture and database administration. • Extensive knowledge of database. Database administration experiences with various kinds of databases is a plus especially Oracle and MS SQL. • Experience in DWH implementation and administration. Experience in administering data warehouse appliances like Teradata or Oracle Exadata is a plus. • Good knowledge of BI concepts with some hands-on experience in Microsoft PowerPivot and SQL Server suite including integration and ETL Tools. • Good knowledge of general IT trends and development trends in particular. • Strong Unix/Linux/Windows/Virtual Machine and OS scripting skills. Programming in various computer languages is a plus. • Sophisticate knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL complex query language and Java/Jython programming is a plus. • Experience in business of banking and/or life insurance industries is a plus.
