Since its foundation in 1839, and without interruption, Patek Philippe has been designing, developing, building and assembling timepieces that are considered by experts to be the best in the world. This is made possible through the know-how and the commitment of its 1,600 employees who tirelessly work in the Patek Philippe workshops and offices, perpetuating the traditional watchmaking art of Geneva.

Starting from 2013, Patek Philippe has established its first Institute in Shanghai, China, marking it the first institute outside its Switzerland headquarter. From 2013 – 2016, more than 30 young and passionate talents from both mainland China and Hong Kong have been hired and trained in the institute in Shanghai, starting their career as a world-class watch maker with the most extensive, rigid apprenticeship program with highest standard. 

To answer the increasing need from South East Asia market, starting from 2017, Patek Philippe is establishing a second Institute in the Asia region, aiming to nurturing future watchmaking master for the regional markets such as Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong. We are now calling for young talents to join us.

Program Description

We are hiring people from the following regions. Candidates must be citizen from the these countries / regions.

Apprenticeship Duration:

Form End of 2017 to End of 2019 (exact date to be determined)

Apprenticeship Location:

Singapore 

(Patek Philippe will help successful candidate to secure working permit and documents in Singapore)

After 2-year apprenticeship, apprentices have to go back to their home countries and region and work as a full time watch maker in the local customer service center.

During the 2-year apprenticeship, you will receive

⦁ Systematic theoretical and technical training of premium watch making and repairing

⦁ Precious opportunity to work with the world’s most experienced watch makers

⦁ Opportunities to go to Switzerland headquarter to receive further trainings. 

After 2-year apprenticeship, apprentices would become a qualified Level-2 watchmaker within Patek Philippe.
