• Job Scope: The Purchasing Manager must ensure a correct understanding of all CAC requirements throughout the project phases. She/He will play a vital role in supplier communication (national and international), and hence, also represents CAC externally. Furthermore, the role is significant for CAC production as it must be ensured that the required materials on-time and in the right quantity and the right cost available at CAC. The Purchasing Manager defines material procurement concepts in line with CAC requirements and ensures that these plans are in correlation with the budget. Responsibilities: Analyze CAC demands and ensures respective CAC Material requirement during set-up phase (new Product Development Phase) • Source new suppliers and/or Materials based on technical definitions from Supply Chain Management Team • Create new suppliers and materials timely in SAP • Order new materials - write purchase orders, and liaise with Supply chain Management Team • Track material ETA at CAC • Pre-Audit new suppliers (new supplier evaluation) During volume production phase • Check requirements for Materials in line with CAC Requirements, liaise with Supply Chain Management and Development Team • Order Material • Track Material ETA at CAC and escalate with suppliers if necessary Establish and keep a professional relationship with local and international suppliers • Ensure correct ordering • Professional negotiations (national and international) for components, tools, and service • Ensure effective communication with Customer General • Create management overviews (timing/costing/quality) and follow ups • Ensure required project documentation is available and up to date • Lead purchase team ( 2-5 Persons) • Weekly internal project status reports
