• Job Scope: Ensures a correct understanding of all customer requirements throughout the project phases. He/She will play a vital role in supplier communication (national and international) and hence, also represents CAC externally. Furthermore, the Supply Chain Manager plays a significant role in production planning while ensuring that all materials required are available on time and in the right quantity. This role also incorporates the definition of material planning concepts in line with CAC / customer requirements and ensures that these material plans are in line with the budget. Last but not least, the Supply Chain Manager ensures professional customer service. Responsibilities: Analyze Customer Production plan, align CAC Production Plan and ensures respective CAC Material requirements During Set-Up Phase (new Product Development Phase) • Check requirements for new Materials with the Development Team • Ensure new Suppliers and Materials are documented in SAP • Order new Materials - write Purchase requests and liaise with Purchasing Manager • Track Material ETA at CAC During Volume Production Phase • Check requirements for Materials in line with CAC Production Requirements • Order Material - write purchase request and liaise with Purchasing Manager • Track Material ETA at CAC Provide professional Customer service to CAC’s global customer base • Ensure correct invoicing / AWB / loading bills • Ensure cost and time effective transport modes ( Air and Sea), including contract negotiations • As Customer Service receives from our Customers the product demands, the SCM must ensure a correct ( time/quantity) production plan • Ensure effective communication with all customers Additional Tasks • Create Management overviews (timing/costing/quality) and follow ups • Ensure required project documentation is available and up to date • Lead Supply Chain team ( 5- 10 Persons in Matrix function) • Weekly internal project status reports • Liaise with customers and CAC Europe Sales Department
