• BACKGROUND Dao Ethical Gifts (DEG) is Baan Dek Foundation's spin-off social enterprise. It is powered by a women empowerment project that aims to generate extra income for marginalized women and mothers living in urban slums. DEG gifts are customizable products that provide a meaningful alternative to traditional corporate gifts. POSITION SUMMARY The Sales and Digital Marketing Manager will play an essential role in the success of the social enterprise, developing marketing strategies and opportunities and implementing successful sales plans. He/she is responsible for managing and developing the DEG social enterprise. This position will work within the DEG team. This person will work closely with various staff under DEG to carry out his/her mission. Job Description: Job Title: Sales and Digital Marketing Manager Type of Contract: Full-time employment position for 1 year (with the possibility of extension) Department: Sales Location: Bangkok, Thailand Expected Start Date: ASAP Key responsibilities of the Sales and Digital Marketing Manager position will entail but are not limited to the following: Marketing and Communications ● Develop DEG’s social enterprise marketing strategy by implementing and coordinating comprehensive marketing plans for tailored audiences, effectively. This includes budget planning, developing product positioning, and pricing policy, promotion of the DEG brand and its new and existing products through online and offline marketing channels. ● Strategize and plan DEG communication to boost local and regional engagement. Maintain DEG’s online presence across all digital channels (i.e. Google, LINE, LinkedIn, Meta, Instagram, and website) and any other online platforms. ● Analyze DEG’s clients’ needs to conduct product research and development recommendations. Sales and business development ● Boost sales together with the DEG team, increase the customer base by identifying business opportunities, always maintaining a robust pipeline, and tracking the social enterprise’s social impact. ● Implement new and “smart” sales plans and advertise. Negotiate and close deals. ● Monitor DEG team’s sales activities, pipelines, database and accounts records on prospective and active accounts. Follow-up and optimize sales performance reports. ● Research specifications, implement and maintain a tailored CRM (database) for DEG social enterprise. Team management ● Supervise and manage the DEG team (directly manage the Sales and Marketing Officer and co- manage the Dao Production Assistant). ● Set sales goals for the team, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed. ● Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Nationality: Thai nationality Language requirements: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Thai; other languages are considered a plus. Education/ Experience: ● Studies: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in sales, digital marketing, business administration, or a similar background ● Working knowledge: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, social media and paid campaigns, ability to use SEO, SEM and marketing databases for promotional purposes, with familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva; knowledge on setting-up CRM customized for small businesses is considered a plus ● Professional experience in building marketing communication strategies (min. 3 years of experience) Other skills and competencies: ● Demonstrated marketing and sales skills is a must. ● Team management: Demonstrated ability to manage a team to ensure they meet objectives and KPIs. ● Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including experience working in a cross-cultural and international environment. ● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. ● Demonstrated strong project management skills. ● Creative and meticulous. ● Able to work independently when needed and within a team ● Highly motivated, flexible and interested in social enterprise activities. ● Problem solver.
