Full-time position for a mobile-centric Wordpress web developer. The primary responsibility of the Web Developer will be to build or rebuild at least six mobile-centric, Google-friendly, AMP-enhanced websites for pubs and restaurants. Secondary responsibilities will be to maintain and upgrade those sites as needed and maintain a dedicated server. Responsibilities Develop new or redevelop existing Wordpress CMS-driven websites for mobile internet users using responsive and Google-friendly design standards. Maintain, upgrade and add new content to those websites. Manage the dedicated server and hosting company for the websites, ensuring optimal performance, speed and uptime. Develop, implement, and support new features across various sites. Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations for each project.

Qualifications 2-5 experience with the WordPress content management system. Must have back-end & front-end Wordpress theme-development experience. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript & AMP. Working knowledge of SEO best practices in web development. Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform development issues, including W3C protocols and compliance. Proficient in spoken English with workplace ability in written English. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.
