- Develop Basic Engineering Design, Front End Engineering and Detailed Engineering Design Documents as per the project requirements. - Prepare Mechanical Engineering documents such as Design Basis, Material Handling Study, Technical Specification, Requisitions - Prepare and / or verify and/ or review engineering calculations such as Mechanical Design of Equipment and MTO. - Vendor Techno-commercial evaluation, Vendor selection, Review of vendor data and incorporation into the design. - Participate in safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, EERA, ESSA, SIL etc. - Conversant with various standards such as ASME, ASTM, TEMA, API, ANSI, Shell DEPs, TOTAL GS - Good knowledge of material specification and selection - Attend Factory and Site Acceptance Test as required - Manage the discipline work, resource identification and allocation, lead the discipline team, support the project team during execution, communication with Vendor and client - Manage interdisciplinary activities - Manage cost and schedule, monitor progress, prepare mitigation plans as required. - Experienced in engineering software such as PV Elite/Compress, Finite Element Analysis, Ansys, etc. - Should be conversant with latest material codes and standards applicable in plant and layout design. - Strong combination of technical and interpersonal skills - Good command of written and spoken English. - Good teamwork skills.
