• Qualifications - New grads are welcome - Strong problem-solving skill, good attitude and team player - Be an active learner, have a positive mindset, and open for feedback - Strong knowledge in OOP software and RESTful web services design and implementation - Good knowledge and skill in MVC Web Framework - Good knowledge in programming structure and performance - Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it - Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS - Good understanding of server-side templating languages (e.g. Jade, EJS) - Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (e.g. Stylus, Less) - Knowledge of enterprise level database management system (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) - Good knowledge of Git version control system - Experiences/knowledge in the following is a plus - Knowledge of chatbot using Dialogflow is a big plus - Google Cloud Platform - Social Network API (e.g. Line, Facebook Messenger, Wechat) - AI concept (e.g. chatbot, image processing/classification, machine learning, deep learning) - MQTT messaging protocol - Understanding of OAuth Concept Responsibilities - Design overall architecture of the web application - Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications - Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features - Maintain code integrity and organization - Work with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements - Understanding and implementation of security and data protection - Development experience for both mobile and desktop - Help contribute and create best practices for the team - Support production issues and requests as needed
