Thai Language, Culture and History Teacher

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Responsibilities: Coordinates with Thai Language, Culture and History Department and/ or all stakeholders as well as enterprises, individuals, organizations and outside agencies to implement the quality assurance system. Coordinates with ONESQA to implement the external quality assurance system. Coordinates with ACS WASC committees of KMIDS at times as needed. Coordinates with relevant agencies in the implementation of information technology to increase the efficiency of quality assurance. Supports and plans the professional developments for KMIDS relevant staff to have knowledge and understanding in principle, goals and criteria for ONESQA and/ or ACS WASC. Co-operates with KMIDS stakeholders to makes a calendar of activities, project proposals, and progress reports. Continuously studies, monitors and evaluates performance or development according to the results of external quality assurance. Coordinates with the Information Technology Department to prepare for quality development information, database, and publishing. To teach Thai language and/or Thai Study, according to their educational needs, students assigned to him/her in the allocated classes. To develop lesson plan and prepare each lesson and evaluate its outcomes. To set a high standard of expectations regarding students’ work, behavior and class membership in all lessons. To assess students’ progress and achievement in accordance with arrangements and policies agreed within the school. To monitor and report the progress of students in the allocated class-both verbal and written reports to the Head of Thai before going to parents. To maintain the quality of the educational environment through care of classrooms, furniture, fittings and other resources To work collaboratively with colleagues within departments To maintain an interest in, and overview of, educational developments, especially in relations to teaching and learning as well as interesting practice, in Thailand and elsewhere. To do duties during breaks as assigned. To monitor the implementation of the School Curriculum Thai Language and Culture requirements. To coordinate special events and ceremonies to celebrate Thai Culture within the school community, etc.

• Qualifications: Male/Female 25 years old up. Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Art. Relatively in Educational field. Having Thai teaching license. Strong experience in similar organizations Have working experience in the field applied for. Be able to relate well with the students and expat staff. Be able to plan and teach creatively in each class. Proactive and positive thinking. Good command of both written and spoken English. Be able to apply a wide variety of technology in workplace. TOEIC score 750 is preferred. Others: Assist in other duties as required or requested.
