IT Specialist - Database Administrator

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• • Responsible for day-to-day operations and administration of MySQL production database, ensure performance, availability and security of the databases.
• • Perform daily/weekly and monthly backup of the database servers, and conduct the restoration test as per the project requirements.
• • Daily monitoring of MySQL and Oracle database and proactively handle support and maintenance activities
• • Define and implement database SOP and best practice operations.
• • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve problems
• • Support application team, collaborate with third party vendors and R&D for resolving issues related with database & applications.
• • Support and maintenance of database cluster servers.
• • Performing preventive maintenance of database servers, software management & patches
• • Develop and maintain the database configuration management
• • Support Disaster Recovery plan & ensure the business continuity practices and process.
• • Manage change request implementations.
• • Ensure Database synchronous/asynchronous replication, and its integrity and availability.

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Minimum 5 year experience in managing enterprise production database servers.
• Good hands on experience in MySQL 5.7/8.0 database with deep knowledge in InnoDB.
• Strong knowledge in MySQL architecture and enterprise features.
• Experience in administration of large scale 10TB MySQL database servers
• understand database logical and physical storage mechanism, can estimate database capacity management
• Expertise in MySQL & Oracle database installation, maintenance, patching, tuning, change management, and optimization.
• Experience in analyzing database loading and performance, fully understand Oracle AWR, MySQL performance scheme
• Understand database security, encryption & users and privileges.
• Experience in Oracle RMAN and MySQL enterprise backup solution & backup policy implementation.
• Expertise in MySQL internal architecture, MySQL database design, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Familiar with RHEL 7.x/8.x administration, pace maker cluster, and knowledge about SAN storage
• Familiar with enterprise monitoring tools, DB management tools, scripting skills one of bash/perl/python
• Good in SQL,Pl/SQL language.
• Understanding of ITIL process, service management, incident and change management
