Farm Operation Manager

• As an Agribusiness Asia Thailand’s Farm Operations Manager, you will provide farm management services and advice on farming and agronomic issues to Agribusiness Asia Group. You will co-ordinate the daily farm operations to ensure the farm is managed for optimal plant nutrition and agronomic strategies to increase crop yields and quality, and suitable crop protection methods. You will be reporting to an Australian ex-patriate Managing Director and English is required. At least 3 years’ experience in growing corn (Maize). Experience with irrigation. Proficient in English and Thai languages. Background in agronomy or agricultural training - and are degree/diploma qualified – with a demonstrated passion for the field and a track record of successes. Passionate about the wider Agriculture industry, you’ll have solid examples of the value you’ve added to clients and your business. It’s essential that you have at least 3 years’ local experience as a farm manager You are able to work independently but enjoy collaborating with the farm team in Thailand. There will be an office established in Lopburi province. Strong knowledge of local farm politics and systems. Ability to have knowledge on a variety of crops and are able to confidently diagnose issues and construct programs for our clients. Demonstrate their outstanding communication verbal and written skills. Ability to adapt in any environment and is computer literate. Ability to effectively interact with customers in a business to business environment. MUST have valid driver’s license & own transport is an advantage.
