Laboratory Technician (ช่างเทคนิคห้องปฏิบัติการ)

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for scheduled science practical lessons.
• Maintain laboratory safety by following and promoting current safety regulations and protocols.
• Conduct introductory lab sessions on safety procedures and correct handling of lab instruments.
• Instruct students in basic equipment handling, measurement techniques, and laboratory etiquette.
• Maintain and repair laboratory equipment to ensure optimal condition and longevity.
• Perform specialized clean-up and maintenance tasks unsuitable for student assistance.
• Organize and manage laboratory storage areas and ensure materials are properly labeled and stored.
• Manage laboratory inventory, monitor stock levels, and maintain accurate records.
• Identify needs for equipment replacement, repair, or new acquisition and propose them to the Head of Science.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders for new materials and equipment with the purchasing department.
• Occasionally procure perishable or consumable materials for experiments outside the campus.
• Coordinate with the Facilities and IT departments to maintain laboratory functionality and safety.
• Assist in the preparation and acquisition of materials for Cambridge AS-Level Science Paper 3 practical examinations.

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated laboratory experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Knowledge of Cambridge Science practicals and lab management is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• A strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and commitment to student safety.
