Scope of Work

You are responsible & empowered to administer the entire food & beverage operation in such a manner as to bring into effect the superior product and service expected for our guests in accordance with policies and procedures adopted by the hotel. Serving food and beverage, leading activities, assisting guests with their quest for information on our neighbourhood & the destination we are in.

To create truly unforgettable experiences by delivering a unique food and beverage offering, activities and service.

Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Food & Beverage Manager responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to



Directly responsible for restaurant, culinary and events areas, ensuring smooth running, profitable operations within the framework of the hotel
Responsible for maintaining the overall welfare of our employees by providing them with the training and resources to take care of our guests
Develop and enforce standards, policies and procedures in the food service, restaurants and beverage areas.
Develop, monitor and take corrective action of annual operating budget, via controllable costs, progress reports, P&L statements etc.
Attain high sanitation standards throughout the food and beverage operation by enforcing Company Sanitation Checklist.
Establish and maintain positive two-way communications with related departments.
Support managers with an effective training program to make them aware of the expectations and responsibilities that their position entails.
Identify and solve problems in a timely fashion.
Delegate authority and responsibility to managers in a way that the entire food and beverage operation runs smoothly.
Appraise Supervisors/employees performance and use effective coaching and counseling for positive improvement.
Hire, develop and retain quality supervisors/employees.
Schedule manning consistent with volume of business and needs.
Administer management personal action movement and payroll.
To ensure the awareness and enforcement of all company SOPs & hotel SOP. Work with the Hotel Manager to update SOPs as required
Ensure that all legal aspects are being fulfilled in regards to control of liquor, beer and wine, sanitation and safety.
Ensure all Supervisor and employees follow all job safety regulations and all hazards are reported to concerned departments.
To ensure that your department conducts an effective monthly employee meeting. Minutes from the meeting shared & forwarded to the Operation Manager.
To ensure that departments are responsible for asset management of all outlet property and facilities.
To ensure that departments conduct a maintenance inspection on a monthly basis.
To respond to guest inquiries or concerns within 24 hours in what is deemed the appropriate manner.
Perform any reasonable request made of management which is not life threatening or against the law.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
Proficiency in English and computer literate
At least Bachelor degree in any field
At least 3 years’ experience in international hotels with evidenced tracked record of achievements
Strong in inter-personality, leadership, and creative skill
Good public speaking skill (track record of presentation or public speaking training course)
