Production Manager (ผู้จัดการฝ่ายผลิต)

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• The Production Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the manufacturing plant in Thailand, focusing on cost, quality, timely fulfillment as well as a SHE standard to meet the production goals and support the global manufacturing strategy. To achieve these goals, the job incumbent is responsible for driving the technical capabilities and global standard manufacturing processes to ensure the performance goals are met. He or she should work with global manufacturing, engineering, PMC and QC teams to ensure compliance with the Gabriel quality standard and SOPs, drive for continuous improvement to enhance product quality, delivery time and cost-effectiveness, as well as provide leadership on the day-to-day running of the manufacturing plant while maintaining best SHE practices. Responsibilities: •Work with the Global Manufacturing Director in developing consistent standards on product quality and manufacturing processes in alignment with other manufacturing sites and corporate standard •Work with New Product Development and Sample Lab to clarify and launch clear quality standard, consistent/standard operation procedures and work instructions •Create and maintain a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, drives for continuous efforts to improve product quality, delivery time and cost- effectiveness •Enhance manufacturing productivity through effective production planning including deployment of people, materials, facilities and other resources based on demand forecasts to minimize wastage and inefficiencies •Work with NPD, Engineering, Customer QC, Sample Lab to assess and evaluate innovative technologies, materials, quality standard and work methods for opportunities to improve them to achieve production excellence •Provide leadership, direction, and guidance on day-to-day problem solving to production and supervisory team •Trouble-shoot and lead problem-solving efforts through the facilitation of team meetings to tackle daily manufacturing issues •Drive and build a quality culture in which all manufacturing employees including the workers take ownership and initiatives to ensure delivery of product quality •Monitor closely the data on gold loss, improve the control measures and mechanisms to ensure it is effectively managed with minimum wastage and maximum restoration •Provide safety training and enforce best SHE working practices in the plant at all times. Document and investigate every accident and injury within his/her department. Promote safety programs and policies in order to reduce the number of accidents and injuries within his/her department •Enforce good manufacturing practices and company quality standards to ensure the quality of product •Manage internal control processes to ensure elimination of risks in company loss of precious raw materials through inventory control and employee management measures •Manage outsourced manufacturing operation based on the consistent company standards on quality, delivery time and cost-effectiveness if required

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related discipline •A minimum of 10 years of manufacturing operation experience in the jewelry industry with 2 years of manufacturing management experience independently managing a production plant •High proficiency level in written and spoken English and Thai, understanding of Chinese an advantage •Familiar with best manufacturing practices and outsource manufacturing in the jewelry industry •Experience with applying quality management systems, processes and tools such as TQM, lean, BPR, quality circles or six sigma to achieve continuous improvement results is preferred •Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability •Works well under tight schedule with multiple priorities •Strong leadership skills in leading teams and individuals •Is a team player and communicates well at all levels •Attention to details and high standards •Strong work ethics and high level of integrity •Ability to work flexible hours including weekends in support of operations when needed
