Sea Freight Manager

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Sea Freight team in accordance with company policies, departmental targets, operating procedures, and service standards. Plan and control service quality, pricing, operational costs, revenue, gross profit, and the overall performance of the Sea Freight function. Prepare and review competitive sea freight rates and service quotations for overseas agents and import/export shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely responses. Manage quotation and rate-sheet activities through the FWD system and monitor quotation conversion, retained business, sales results, and profitability. Source, evaluate, and select shipping lines and co-loaders based on rates, service quality, routing, capacity, and commercial terms. Negotiate rates and commercial conditions with shipping lines, co-loaders, and service providers to achieve competitive costs and reliable services. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with overseas agents, carriers, co-loaders, customers, and business partners. Monitor market conditions, competitors, regulations, freight rates, capacity, and service developments, and recommend appropriate improvements or corrective actions. Resolve operational issues, service failures, customer complaints, shipment delays, and other matters affecting customers or overseas agents. Coach, supervise, evaluate, motivate, and develop team members to improve their professional capability and performance. Prepare departmental performance reports, analyze operational issues, and present improvement plans to senior management. Maintain a high level of satisfaction among domestic customers and overseas agents. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Open to all genders, aged 35 years or above Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field At least 10 years of experience in Air Freight, Sea Freight, or International Freight Forwarding Proven experience in a supervisory, team leadership, or managerial role within the freight forwarding industry Strong knowledge of import-export processes, customs-related matters, freight pricing, shipping lines, and co-loader management Demonstrated ability to manage operational costs, revenue, gross profit, and departmental profitability Strong leadership, service management, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members Good command of Microsoft Office and freight forwarding-related systems Good English communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing Strong customer, overseas agent, carrier, and business-partner relationship management skills High integrity, responsibility, positive attitude, service mind, interpersonal effectiveness, and attention to detail Valid driving license and ability to drive Preferred Qualifications Cargo Basic Course or Dangerous Goods Regulations: DGR certification Experience managing relationships with overseas agents, shipping lines, or co-loaders Proven achievements in cost reduction, profit improvement, service-quality enhancement, or operational-process improvement Established professional network within the freight forwarding or shipping industry Ability to analyze conversion rates, retained business, revenue, gross profit, and operational performance Sea Freight Manager
