• Location : CELII Power Project in Sihanouk Ville, Cambodia Main Purpose : - To provide welding engineering consulting services for engineering and construction quality department. Conduct welding engineering project to enhance the function, Develop qualify and provide technical expertise with welding techniques to support the construction and quality control team. Analyze engineering designs for welding requirement. - This professional may have his/her home base in Thailand, Cambodia or any other country. However during project execution accommodation will be provided by the company in Sihanouk Ville, Cambodia. The professional will have assignment for regular 6 days/week at the construction site in Cambodia. Direct Report : CELII Site Manager and Project Manager, QA/QC Manager Work Environmental : - Construction site of 150 MW CFB Boiler Coal Fired Power Plant. The site area is located at sea shore next to the existing 2x50 MW CFB boiler Plants. They are currently in service. - Regular working is 6 days /week, 8 hours per day, Sunday is a week holiday. Over time work as necessary and require approval by site manager or project manager. Principal Duties and Responsibilities : • Analyze engineering designs for welding requirement. • Has responsibility of coordinating multiple projects and directing outside test laboratories and contract welding facilities. • Plan, Conduct, Track and report welding engineering investigation. • Review welding procedure, processes and documentation in order to determine that applicable welding code and design requirements are satisfied. • Oversee welding procedure qualification and generate welding procedure to assist construction and welding personnel. • Investigate development in the field of welding to evaluate their possible application to improve or in accordance with all application code and customer requirements. • Provide technical support with construction standard and specification such as ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, AWS, API, CSA, ISO and NACE. • Coordinate failure analyses and root cause analysis on welding related issues. • Provide welding update record by daily and weekly progress report submitted to QA/QC Manager. • Provide welders controlled system by welder’s performance report.

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Minimum Qualifications : • 5 years in a construction environment • 2 years in welding engineer site construction works • Bachelor’s Degree Welding Engineering or related discipline. Preferred Job Qualifications : • Degree of Welding engineer is preferred • NDE,CSWIP 3.0,CSWIP 3.1 certificate will be advantage • Experienced working with ASME section I,II,V, IX, AWS D1.1,ASME B31.1 will be advantage • Experienced of common welding processes such as SMAW,FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and SAW Preferred Competencies : Knowledge preferred: • Fundamental knowledge in NDE; ability to categorize & quantify weld defect. • Knowledge in welding carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels and nickel based alloys. • Knowledge or experience in the power plant or industry system. • Ability to communication effectively both orally and in writing through memos and engineering report. • Understanding of mechanical and structure components as it relates to welding engineering assessments and recommendations. Skills : • Computer skills, familiar and usable with MS Word, MS Excel • Communication in English good or better • Ability to write detailed reports • Human relations skills • Conflict welding skills
