Field Application Specialist – Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Strategic Technical Onboarding: Execute end-to-end installation and commissioning of NGS platforms, ensuring bespoke workflow optimisation tailored to specific laboratory requirements.
• Consultative Training: Design and deliver comprehensive wet-lab and dry-lab training programmes for diverse audiences, ranging from laboratory technicians to Principal Investigators.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Act as the definitive subject matter expert (SME) to resolve complex technical challenges, including library preparation nuances, sequencing chemistry deviations, and primary data analysis issues.
• Product Advocacy & Evolution: Collaborate closely with R&D and Marketing teams by providing "voice-of-customer" insights to influence the roadmap of future genomic solutions.
• Commercial Synergy: Partner with Account Managers to conduct technical seminars and high-level product demonstrations, effectively articulating the value proposition of our NGS portfolio during the pre-sales phase.

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Academic Excellence: A Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline is essential.
• NGS Expertise: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in NGS workflows, including deep familiarity with library preparation (DNA/RNA/Target Enrichment) and various sequencing modalities.
• Bioinformatics Literacy: Proficiency in interpreting sequencing data and a solid understanding of secondary analysis tools (e.g., variant calling, alignment protocols).
• Field Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role (FAS or Applications Scientist) within the Life Sciences industry is highly desirable.
