Assistant Manager – Merchandise/Merchandise Manager (fresh food)

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Understanding the buyer’s company practices and procedures, including accounting standards and regulations
• Build a cohesive assortment of products that resonates with our customer
• Ensure our product range and decision-making delivers on the strategic vision for the brand
• Negotiating price, terms of sale, shipping arrangements, and other details of transactions with suppliers
• Reviewing price lists and catalogs provided by suppliers and contacting them to request additional information about their products or services
• Preparing purchase orders for items that have been approved for purchase
• Ordering samples of products for further evaluation by their company
• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their products, and determine pricing strategies
• Establishing long-term business relationships with suppliers and fostering mutual trust, respect, and cooperation
• Monitor stock movements, manage inventory levels, and forecast sales and purchases
• Maintain all product information databases as required
• Manage the relationship with suppliers and distributors

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Business, or equivalent required
• 5+ years prior buying, merchandising or product development experience, preferably in businesses with a strong B2B
• 3+ years relevant experience in sourcing, development, quality and production
• Strong assortment planning/ merchandising skills
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
• Ability to meet deadlines and make decisions
• Detail-oriented accurate accountable
