Product Engineer

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Ensure suppliers understand relevant Product Requirements in DST (Diamond Seal Technology) categories correctly. Participant in design review with suppliers, to explain design & process requirements. Provide answers to any questions regarding design/process requirements from suppliers. Assist to create products verification/validation, Sample Plan, PPAP Checklist for DST products made in Vietnam & Thailand.
• Validate suppliers’ Manufacture Process Capability to meet process requirements. Verify Suppliers’ Fixture, Gauging, Assembly & On-line Inspection set up, can meet relevant product requirements. On-site review suppliers’ tooling run, pilot run & PPAP run, to understand supplier actual manufacture capability & capture need to correct/improve area. Assist to assess local suppliers’ manufacture capability study & work with suppliers on capability gap closure per improving action items.
• Validate DST products producing in Southeast Asia can meet defined requirements. On site participant in relevant product runs at supplier site, to ensure products producing according to relevant process/operation requirements, identify need to correct/improve area. Inspect/test products producing compliant with requirements.
• Take leading of local Sustain Engineering work, to support product improvement. As Product Engineering representative, support local supplier’ inquire/improvements in engineering area. Execute Product Improvement activities leading by DFC with local suppliers. Identify any Value management ideas from process or design, to drive TCP goals.

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Candidate has 3+ years’ experience in product engineering.
• A background in the manufacturing industry is essential.
• Experience with design for manufacturability, DFMEA, PPAP, verification and validation testing are required. Be familiar with GD&T knowledge
• Be familiar with GD&T knowledge
• Education level – college or above.
• Demonstrate to work independently.
• Shown ability to be a “self-starter” with analytical and problem-solving skills. Good in oral Chinese & English, can communicate with local suppliers.
• Be able for a long period travel if need.
