Evaluate and qualify new suppliers according to company procedures.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 13485, MDR, MDSAP).
Maintain approved supplier lists and monitor supplier performance through KPIs.
Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for critical suppliers
Support supplier escalation and improvement programs when performance issues arise
Review and approve supplier quality documentation (e.g., Supplier certificate, quality agreement).
Support suppliers in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities
Ensure supplier processes meet internal and regulatory quality requirements.
Lead root cause analysis for supplier-related quality issues using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone Analysis.
Drive supplier development and continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
Review and approve supplier change requests (process, material, equipment) through formal change control procedures.
Support risk assessments related to supplier changes or deviations.
Work closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to ensure quality expectations are communicated and met.
Provide technical support during new product introduction and supplier process validation activities.

Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or a similar role (medical device or pharmaceutical of regulated industry preferred).
Knowledge of quality systems and standards: ISO 13485, MDR, MDSAP, or GMP.
Experience with supplier audits, internal audits, process validation, risk management (ISO 14971), and CAPA systems.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
Experience with supplier audits, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and validation protocols.
ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor – for medical device quality management systems (QMS) are an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
