AFC Software Engineer & System Administrator

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• 1) Responsible for the administration and overall maintenance of the Automatic Fare Collection System (Central Computer, HP unix , Sybase Database, Actuate Report, AFC Network and all AFC Application Software) in the Administration Building and AFC workshop. 2) Maintains the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System Configuration table by updating/encoding data for fare tables, equipment parameter tables, etc. Maintains system and station specific AFC operation parameters. 3) Oversees application users to ensure that required information is available when needed. 4) Maintains HP/Unix, Central Database (Syabase) and AFC Central Computer network security. 5) Performs regular backup and restore procedures on the HP/UNIX file system, the Sybase Database System and the Actuate Report System. 6) Monitors and manages Disk, CPU, memory and connection utilization. 7) Documents and resolves system errors in the HP/Unix, Actuate Report and AFC System Application systems. Takes actions to prevent future errors. 8) Installs software layered products, software applications and upgrades. 9) Participates in discussions on AFC changes, enhancements and modifications, attends meetings as directed by AFC Development Branch Manager. 10) Monitors the Sysbase database system log and corrects system problems. 11) Sets up and monitors the AFC user audit level. 12) Monitors and manages the AFC Central Computer network resource utill 13) Liaises and coordinates with relevant parties regarding engineering standards and automatic fare collection system interface. 14) Maintain Fare System integrity in support of operational and marketing activity.
