หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• We are looking for translators proficient in English with a good understanding of the Thai language. The candidates must be dependable, able to write, read, and speak English fluently and translate the script, copywriting, research material, etc., from Thai to English and English to Thai without losing the essences, accuracy, and flow. Responsibilities: • Advanced language knowledge (English and Thai). • Excellent writing skills. • Translate, edit, and proofread various documents from Thai-English & English-Thai; such documents could include scripts, dialogue, research material, & copywriting. • In-depth cultural knowledge. • Sound research skills. • Best practice translation and review process. • Sound translation judgment. • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing). • Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy. • Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations. • Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone. • Convert articles and audio recordings from Thai to English. • Read given material and research need-specific terminology. • Ensure that translations are complete and accurate and that there are no additions/omissions to the original text, the original meaning of the original feeling, and intent. • Clarify with the originators of documents the original meaning, feeling, and intent of script/text to be translated. • Other duties as assigned.

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• • Bachelor’s degree in translation or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; certification from a professional association (an asset). • 2-3 years of comparative job experience; experience in the media & content industry translation is an asset. • Bilingual in English and Thai.
