Assistant Manage, Specialty Business

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Underwrite and manage Casualty, Financial Lines, and other Specialty / Special Products in accordance with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
• Manage both new and renewal business, including portfolio monitoring and profitability management.
• Work closely with brokers, business partners, and clients to develop new business opportunities and provide appropriate insurance solutions.
• Coordinate and negotiate facultative reinsurance placements with reinsurance brokers and reinsurers, including terms, capacity, pricing, and reinsurance documentation.
• Support the development of new products and specialty insurance solutions based on market opportunities and client needs.
• Monitor market trends, claims experience, portfolio performance, and emerging risks.
• Collaborate with Claims, Reinsurance, Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth business operations.
• Support management with portfolio analysis, business planning, and underwriting reports as required.

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Casualty, Financial Lines, Specialty Lines, or Reinsurance.
• Hands-on underwriting experience in products such as Public/General Liability, Product Liability, Professional Indemnity, D&O, Cyber, or other Specialty products would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge and practical experience in facultative reinsurance is preferred.
• Strong underwriting judgment, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with brokers, reinsurers, and business partners.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
