GOLF MAINTENANCE GROUNDSMAN

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

•  Operates course maintenance equipment as directed by his/her supervisor.  Mows greens, tees, fairways and roughs with the specified equipment.  Observes safe-operating procedures at all times.  Maintains bunkers; including raking, weeding and edging.  Operates mowers and string trimmers in trimming greens, aprons, tees, around trees, fence lines, banks and hillsides; edges cart paths; edges, rakes and maintains sand bunkers.  Aerifies greens and tees; verti-cuts fairways, tees and greens; spikes greens; operates sod cutter, spray rigs for greens and fertilizer spreaders; and mows rough with rotary and operates other equipment as directed.  Operates mowers and string trimmers in trimming greens, aprons, tees, around trees, fence lines, banks and hillsides; edges cart paths.  Ensures that the equipment cooling system is working at all times; refills fuel and oil daily; cleans equipment daily, and reports equipment problems or failures to equipment manager immediately.  Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the workshop manager or assistant superintendent and for returning equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.  Sets tee markers and cups on greens daily; maintains ball washers; replaces tee towels and flags  When needed; removes debris; sands and seeds tee and drop area divots.
