HORTICULTURIST

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

•  Manages the greenhouse and ornamental nursery facilities; selects, propagates and grows plant materials for ornamental use on and around the golf course, clubhouse and other buildings.  Designs flower beds; cultivates shrubs and flowers.  Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery.  Designs, installs and maintains low-pressure irrigation systems for landscaping.  Instructs landscape attendants in routine maintenance of ornamental plantings.  Applies pesticides and fertilizers to ornamental plantings.  Advises the golf course superintendent of the need for tree trimming

•  Other relevant duties as directed by the Landscape Supervisor or Golf Course Superintendent  Required to work outside for long periods of time to perform his/her duties  Required to perform manual labour activities.  Good physical strength, stamina and agility.
