หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

Main responsibilities include sourcing of suppliers and contract negotiation and validation in order to transfer all purchase conditions to procurement team for PO processing.


Improve the sourcing of material, tools, consumable and spare parts related to Splice production in order to secure on-time delivery, cost reduction and quality criteria:
Sourcing for new potential suppliers : analyze supplier capabilities and capacities as well as quotations/ leadtime/ quality
Ensure alternative sources for key items
Maintain approved vendor list with quality department
Create, implement, monitor and update purchasing contracts and conditions:
Set price list for major suppliers and all standard parts with negotiated cost, lead time.
Negotiate payment terms and delivery conditions and any additional information to be agreed between both parties
Re-negotiate yearly contract with supplier
In charge of settlement of claims related to quality in cooperation with quality department
Performance monitoring of key suppliers
Prepare reports
Define and manage planning for supplier review
Lead and report performance review with support of concerned departments
Prepare reporting for purchasing activity
Define and implement internal purchasing procedures
Others as assigned by Management

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical or related field or higher in any related fields.


• At least 5 years in as a Buyer preferably with technical parts and also Purchasing activity such as sourcing.


• In-depth experience of Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing disciplines.


• Age not less than 30 years old.


• Thai nationality Male or Female


• Strong analytical, negotiating and project management skills


• Good command of both written and spoken English


• Computer literacy


• Good knowledge in the steel market


• Able to travel often in local and overseas
