1) ABOUT SPB Somphol Bedding and Mattress Industry Co., Ltd. We aim to create a happy work place for all our employees. 2) OVERVIEW As a Senior Online Marketing Specialist, you will be a part of a team that manages the marketing activities for all the brands in our portfolio across ASEAN and South Asia. Your primary role and responsibility is to ensure the continuing growth of the online presence of our brands and help convert that presence into revenue by: ● Maintaining and developing coding, layout and design of our websites; ● Managing and developing digital contents for social media. Direct Report: Marketing Manager Department: Marketing Staff Level: 6/14 Location: HQ, Srinakarin Road, Bangkok, Thailand 3) RESPONSIBILITIES 3.1) Web Development ● Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices. ● Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices. ● Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. ● Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. ● Create and maintain software documentation. ● Be responsible for maintaining, expanding and scaling our websites. ● Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities. ● Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent. ● Implement SEO on our websites. 3.2) Online marketing ● Support the development and implementation of online marketing campaigns. ● Identify appropriate digital channels and systems. ● Plan and execute social media and digital marketing strategies. ● Manage social media accounts. ● Evaluate the success of social media and digital marketing strategies. 4) BACKGROUND 4.1) Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields 4.2) Experience ● Five years experience working in a digital marketing environment ● Minimum of three years experience in web development ● Minimum of two years experience in digital project management ● Some hands-on experience in network diagnostics and network analytics tools 4.3) Knowledge The successful applicant must possess solid knowledge in the following areas: ● Programming and modern HTML/CSS; ● At least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails; ● The functioning and architecture of web and cloud applications including security, session management and best development practices; ● Relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development; ● Internet technologies; ● SEO; ● CMS; ● E-commerce; ● MS Office; and ● Developments and trends in the online world. 4.4) Skills The successful candidate must have: ● Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets; ● Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques; ● An open mind; ● Good communication skills in English; ● Good communication skills in Thai preferred; ● Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
