RETAIL OPERATION MANAGER

• • Managing and motivating the sales team to increase sales and ensure efficiency • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control • Understanding the brand history, products and sales arguments • Coordinating with marketing and related department to devise the appropriate sales strategies • Analysing the turnover figures and forecasting future growth to maximize profits • Record the sales figures for data analysis and future planning • Dealing with sales recruitment issues such as potential staff interview, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as leading the training • Manage the sales’ roster effectively and efficiently • Ensuring the company standard of service • Respond to customer complaints and comments • Organising special promotions, displays and events • Attending and chairing meetings • Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues • Frequent visit to the POSs, talking to collegues, customers and supplier to identify or resolve any emerging issues • Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing • Initiating changes to improve the business , e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market • Dealing with sales as and when required
