• Job Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding marketing, business or IT graduate with a few years of marketing, social media and/or PR experience looking to gain firsthand experience within a dynamic, international company operating from Bangkok in the fast-growing social commerce and consumer internet area. You will work directly with the founders of ThaiCityDeals across all aspects marketing and PR. You will be exposed to every step of the business process from strategy to implementation to the many practical day-to-day activities involved in promoting a company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of the strategies to achieve massive exposure in terms of mass media, social media, consumers and merchants.We are looking for exceptional individuals who want to actively help manage a fast growing company. We want you to take responsibility and independently lead a team of talented individuals. The compensation can be very rewarding, consisting of salary, bonus and, potentially, equity. Responsibilities: - Development and implementation of online and offline marketing plan as well as managing press relations (PR) - Online marketing includes social media (Facebook Ads), advertising on sites such as Google (Adwords), affiliate marketing, content creation such as blogging or games - Press relations includes liaise with journalists and bloggers, create press releases or pitch to newspapers/magazines/TV/Radio to get free exposure in the press - Planning and conducting market research and analytics. Basic understanding of Excel and statistics is necessary.
