หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Install and configure database management systems (DBMS) MySQL or PostgreSQL ensuring they meet the requirements of the organization.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and performance tuning to ensure databases operate efficiently and with minimal downtime.
• Ensure databases are secure by implementing access controls, encryption, and other security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and breaches.
• Monitor database growth and usage trends, planning for future expansion to ensure the database infrastructure can handle increasing loads.
• Monitoring database health and performance, setting up alerts to proactively address potential issues before they impact users.
• Act as the first responder in the event of database-related security incidents, working to contain and resolve the issue while minimizing data loss and downtime.
• Work with developers to optimize SQL queries, ensuring efficient data retrieval and reducing resource consumption.
• Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure knowledge is preserved and easily accessible to other team members.
• Train and mentor junior DBAs or other IT staff, sharing knowledge on database best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related fields
• At least 3 years above in Manage/Configure Operating System (OS) Windows, UNIX, Linux
• Able to work in shifts (shifts day 9.00 a.m.-9.00 p.m., and shifts night 9.00 p.m.-9.00 a.m.)
• Experienced in database Administration (DBA) in MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Should know backup concepts and tools.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage aggressive timelines
• Initiative, self-supervised, self-motivated, highly responsible, and punctual
• Willing to contribute and work as a team
• Good leadership, responsibility, and personality.
