Required Qualifications <ul> <li>Excellent working knowledge in power plant operation and maintenance and applicable industry standards.</li> <li>Ability to check engineering documents for proper engineering practices</li> <li>Experience performing electrical calculations, studies and failures reports</li> <li>Knowledge of protection, interlocks and controls of electrical power systems</li> <li>Good communication skills with personnel of Operation department and follow through practices</li> <li>Experience with project scheduling software</li> <li>Experience training less experienced engineers and craftsmen.</li> <li>Ability to evaluate work request priority and to distribute activities within the electrical work force.</li> <li>Experience in leading a group of Technicians in the use of documentation required to initiate every activity.  </li> </ul> Key Competence <ul> <li>A minimum of 3 years experience associated with power plant facilities in a supervisory/management capacity</li> <li>Conscientious, flexible, versatile and determined. Capable of assertive and positive communication and performance</li> <li>Exemplary safety and managerial leadership skills. Good levels of written and spoken communication in English language. Clear understanding of personnel, behavioral and team issues.</li> <li>Appropriate standard of managerial, technical, and professional knowledge as defined by competences</li> <li>Good knowledge and skill with ‘Maintenance Management System’ interface. Practical familiarity with standard ‘Office’ software package.</li> <li>Operation and use of Internet and electronic mail system </li> </ul>
